- We have completed a number of projects for SSE Electricity across their network of operational, thermal power stations. There are three primary drivers behind the work we do for SSE; end of life replacement, energy efficiency and safety compliance. With these in mind, CDGA set about tackling projects such as upgrading the emergency lighting in the power stations. Building on our expertise in safety and on similar sites to the power stations, we were able to complete such a task across several sites to the highest degree of satisfaction. Another large upgrade CDGA completed for SSE was the update of the roadway lighting at the plants to a modern system. With the new system being more energy efficient and requiring a low level of maintenance, the update was a success. Additionally, we also worked on outfall water foam mitigation. With large amounts of water being used daily at the power stations, the system needs to run as smoothly as possible and this was one problem area that CDGA was able to use its technical expertise to remedy...
